Discover Guelmim Desert in One Night Excursion From Agadir

Itinérary: Agadir-Tifnit-National Souss Massa park-Tiznit-Sidi Ifni-Guelmim

Schedule:

   Departure from your hotel at 8:30 a.m. heading south along the Atlantic coast to admire the beautiful desert landscape and discover one of the most authentic fishing villages in the region, consisting of troglodyte houses and traditional fishing boats, then drive to the Souss Massa National park, one of Morocco’s most significant national parks and bird heaven for migratory birds fly down here from Europe during the winter months. A long the way stop whenever you wish at the beautiful wild beaches a long the atlantic ocean to enjoy the beauty of the nature, then continue towards the famous beach called Legzira ; known of its strange nature arcs… (free time for swiming or lunch in one of the beach restaurants: optional), then head on to the ex-Spanish enclave of Sidi Ifni for a visit or lunch. Usual menue: fish on the menu - grilled fresh sardines, fried fish, chicken tagines, kabab... and more. (lunch is not included in the excursion price). After lunch, we continue to the town of Guelmim, “The gate of the desert” for a brief visit. In the afternoon we follow towards the amazing oasis with the largest palm grove of the region. The trip continues afterwards to your bivouac in the midle of desert with sand dunes. Once we arrived at the camp; you’ll be served a well-deserved mint tea accompanied by Moroccan pastries, after which you'll marvel at the sunset and the stunning spectrum of light on the golden sand dunes afterwhich you'll return to the bivouac for dinner under a gorgeous sky full of stars accompanied by a Sahraoui music show, performed by young locals around a campfire. Overnight is scheduled in nomad tents to experience and appreciate the first hand living conditions of the nomads.

The next day and after breakfast, we continue the journey back to Agadir borrowing an alternative itinerary through the Anti Atlas for a change of scenery. Once we arrive at Tiznit ; a small berber town famous for its silver jewellery; stop for a little walk to stretch the legs and visit the labyrinth of the city. Back to our car to continue, and along the way stop at the  Youssef  ben Tachafin dam to enjoy the beautiful view of the desert landscape. Lunch in a typical house at a Berber family is optional.

Back to your hotel at the end of the day.
