Itinerary: Agadir-Taroudant-Marrakech-Essaouira

Highlights:

• Taroudant: Small fortified market town known for its local crafts.
• Tizi-n-Tichka: A high mountain pass reaching a culminating point of 2.260m (7,410ft), located in the High Atlas Mountains with quite impressive scenery, natural landscapes, and colors transforming constantly along the way.
• Tinmel(Mosque): Unknown to many, Tinmel Mosque sits above a river valley in the heart of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, a joy to visit.
• Marrakech: One of the most preferred tourist destinations in Morocco; framed by the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, thousand-year-old palm groves wrapped in faded red ochre walls. The city is mysterious and very magical due to its Ancient monuments, its labyrinth-like old medina, entrancing music, mouth-watering cuisine and the thousand-year palm groves.
• Essaouira: Essaouira is a charming city with cobblestoned streets, whitewashed walls, massive stone ramparts along the Atlantic Ocean and plenty of shops and intriguing art galleries which makes the city particularly, a pleasant place for peace and relaxation.

Schedule:

Day 1: Departure from Agadir at 8:30 am heading towards the plain of Souss, the largest orange grove of the region; arrival in Taroudant often called '' little Marrakech ''; short visit of the Salam Palace (former palace of the Pasha), the medina and the souk then continue up the High Atlas Mountains where Berber villages start to appear at the foot of the mountains, oases of olive trees, and the stunning and spectacular landscapes along the way. Once arrived at the top of the Tizi-N-test at an altitude of 2100 m, enjoy the splendid panoramic view. Lunch in a pleasant location (optional) or simply have a mint tea break then continue towards the villages of Ijoukak, Ouirgane, and Asni arriving at the old mosque of Tinmel for a short visit then continuing the trip to Marrakech, arriving at your lodging destination at the end of the afternoon. Clean up then prepare yourself for a very pleasant outing to the world-famous Heritage Jamaa el Fna Square (highly recommended), dinner and overnight at your hotel, or Riad.

Day 2: Marrakech-Essaouira. After breakfast, visit a few historical monuments of Marrakech for the morning: the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia mosque, the Saadian tombs,  Lunch at will (not included). Followed by a guided tour of the big souk and the old medina, heaven of admirers of handicrafts. Meet around 16:30 to continue the trip towards the Atlantic Ocean, arriving in Essaouira at 19:00 hrs for diner and overnight in 3-4* hotel or riad.

Day 3: The morning visits include the port, the Sqala, the Medina, and the Jewish quarter. Lunch break (fish is recommended but not included); then free time in town or on the beach before the return to Agadir around 16:hrs with a short coffee break.
