Half-day Excursion to the Outstanding Beauty of Paradise Valley

    Paradise Valley also called the Green Valley is a fascinating oasis thanks to the green landscape all along the "wadi" (river) where spring water flows almost all year round. The Paradise Valley is considered to be one of the best sites, perfect for walking in the forest, bird watching, and best of all, relaxing.  This enjoyable trip is an escape from the daily stress resulting from big city life. The ride can be done in the afternoon or in the morning.

Schedule:

Departure at 09:00 a.m. or 14:00 hrs heading north of Agadir, cutting through to the village of bananas after a short drive and taking the gorgeous honey road; the drive is so pretty with palm trees, oleanders, olive trees, natural pools, and ponds dug in hard rock all along the gorges that sometimes reach the heights of 180 m. A beautiful scene, a stop or two are scheduled for photos at will. Continue the trip but this time leaving the valley and driving through the High Atlas Mountains at the altitude of 1100 m, an incredible and beautiful view with Berber houses perched on the rocks and cliffs. A mint tea break is planned with a Berber family, to get a feel of how the locals live the traditional way, the tea ceremony is accompanied by fresh homemade bread baked in a traditional oven (tafarnoute) accompanied by thyme honey, and Argan oil... (The break at the Berber family's is optional and depends on the visitor's preference) please expect a tip for your host.
