Tafraout, a small town in the Anti Atlas Mountains with traditional architectural style, and is considered an ideal site to get a taste and feel of the Moroccan South. This small town benefits from a magnificent and remarkable geographical location in the heart of the Anti-Atlas Mountain range being in an ideal proximity to other villages in the region.

Departure from your hotel at 07:30 a.m. you will cross the plain of Souss and arrive at the foot of the Anti Atlas with spectacular mountain scenery and a green valley especially in January & February when the almond trees are in bloom; landscape forming the abnormal and extraordinary appearance of pink granite, lion's head, Napoleon’s hat, painted rocks, etc ...). the visitor can't help but be amazed at the spectacular scenery. Stops and photo breaks at will.

Your destination for lunch would be one of the most typical restaurants in the area where you’ll be served the famous tajine dish with chicken or meat garnished with grilled almonds - the specialty of the region (included in the price of the excursion).

The visit of Tafraout continues but this time driving towards the city of Tiznit (the silver city capital of the south). During this excursion, each turn will greet you with another landscape of different aspects, a mysterious experience in fact. Coffee break at the kerdous passes at an altitude of 1100 m, or simply stop to admire the panoramic view and breathe the fresh air of the Atlas Mountains.

Once arrived at Tiznit, visit of city walls and a short walk in the alleys of the Medina (optional), visit of the jewelry cooperative (optional).
