Excursion Agadir to The Little Sahara - Heaven of the South

Program:

Leaving your hotel around 09:00 am heading towards the south of Agadir and after an hour drive (40 km), stop at the fishing village of Tifnit, with its unique panorama, troglodyte houses, and the beautiful beach on the wild coast; witness the arrival of the small traditional fishing blue boats; the unloading and the sale of fish on the spot is quite a sight. This excursion also offers the opportunity to explore the Souss Massa National Park, a natural reserve and a privileged place of many species of migratory endangered birds such as the bald ibis, This park is often called the Nile of the Souss, which generously offers natural beauty and foliage in the middle of a desert landscape (optional walk).

Cape sand dunes in the middle of a rocky desert, small picturesque villages, sporadic nomad tents and shepherds with their herds of goats appear throughout your journey; optional break upon arrival near the sand dunes for photos or simply for a brief camel ride on one of the largest dunes is often deserved, (a real treat and a great pleasure of children).

Lunch is scheduled with a Berber family in a typical house of the village where you will be served a typical and delicious dish carefully prepared by Fatima with chicken and organic vegetables grown in the small fields nearby.

After lunch, the trip continues to the desert gate: Tiznit, a small town surrounded by ramparts, well known for its filigree silver jewels; you will visit the Medina and its alleys, the souk (shopping at the request of customers), and the large square in the center of the medina, Almechouar.

Before taking the road back; free time is allowed in the big square for visitors to walk around the area or simply enjoy a mint tea in one of the cafes under the arcades of the square and admire the daily life of the city.
