Agadir to Taroudant And Tiout Oasis Affordable Excursion

The tour starts at 8:30 a.m., heading towards the famous agricultural area of the Souss plains, and then on to Taroudant. Located 80 km southeast of Agadir, this is one of the oldest cities in Morocco. Its aged medina, surrounded by 6 km of ramparts built in beaten earth, is very interesting and somewhat reminiscent of Marrakech.

The excursion begins with a tour of the famous ramparts, followed by a break at the former palace of the Pacha of Taroudant and its region. The palace has been converted into a riad/hotel, where visitors can enjoy a well-deserved mint tea, coffee or fresh orange juice in the patio and garden.

Discovering the old city begins with a walk through the labyrinthine old medina and its souks (markets), which are full of handicrafts, food products, clothing and jewellery; a paradise for admirers of authenticity and a genuine atmosphere. At the end of the guided tour, you will have free time in Assarag Square to take photos and enjoy a drink at one of the cafés under the arcades of the large square.
